Aquí hay un artículo sobre algunos libros de "fácil lectura" para extranjeros.
Tengo que decir que mi preferido de esa lista es "El tiempo entre costuras" de María Dueñas. También tiene un segundo libro que se llama "Sira", que es la continuación de esa historia.

If you go to amazon and search “spanish español a2” then you’ll get a lot of results. Many are instructional books but some are novels or short story books. If you buy a book on Kindle you can use the built in Translation tool.
