Question re: todo or toda

Hi, Kwizbot                      Desde allí arriba, podíamos ver toda Barcelona.

You could also say:   De ahí arriba, podíamos ver todo Barcelona

you use both “todo” and “toda” here, and if so, why?

Both todo and toda are accepted in front of Barcelona. Both are accepted in the exercise. There is a note on this in our lesson about "todo/toda/todos/todas". If you keep reading inside the lesson, by the end there is an explanation about todo/toda in front of countries and cities. Here it is. 
You cannot say "Ver todo a Barcelona". It wouldn't make sense with the "a".
