o or ó for or in Spanish?

The conjunction "o" in Spanish doesn't take the written accent. It used to take the accent when the conjunction was placed between two numbers to avoid confusion with the number "0", e.g. "Tengo 2 ó 3 vestidos nuevos.",  but nowadays this is not necessary.
