Navidades in plural?

Is "navidad" typically used in plural, like in this example?

Estas serán las primeras navidades sin Cristina. -These will be the first Christmas without Cristina.

Also, the translation should be "This will be..."

Hola Stephanie

In Spain we tend to use the word "navidades" to refer to the whole Christmas season, but we do sometimes use it in plural to refer to just the 25th December.

In any case, the English translation has been changed to "This is the first Christmas season without Cristina", which is the correct one as you said.

Gracias y saludos

Inma
