Indeed: and it also reminds me of the 1960s film "Half a Sixpence" starring Tommy Steele and Julia Foster - [although long before your time, undoubtedly - as too were the years when 'sixpences' were everyday currency !]

Hola David,
Ah yes, I do in fact remember that film, albeit I was a toddler when it was released! It was a fun musical that I first saw some time in the '70s. I vaguely remember the old sixpence too.
