"Hoy no he quedado con nadie"

"I am not meeting anyone today" is the right answer. Why is it not "I haven't met anyone today" please?

Here we mean that I haven't arranged to meet with anyone today, therefore the result meaning is also "I am not meeting anyone today"2. Your suggestion which is also correct: I haven't met anyone today, the same way we'd say "Hoy no he visto a nadie."
