Grammar about está and están
This question relates to:Spanish lesson "Forming the present progressive/continuous in Spanish with estar + present participle (El Presente Progresivo)"
Asked 10 months ago

Hola Klara
This is because "ellos" is "they" (plural), so you need the verb in conjugated in the plural for the "ellos" form:
yo estoy
tú estás
él, ella, usted está
nosotros estamos
vosotros estáis
ellos están
