Why???
I just figured out why I'm missing all the "usted" questions. When I go study verb charts, none of them even list the formal, so I have incorrectly using the second person plural.
But why? I've been told that it's hardly used, and if they don't even include it in the conjugation charts, . . . Really?

All you have to do is use the same conjugation as él and ella.

In all our conjugation lessons we include the formal pronouns usted and ustedes (generally with their abbreviated forms ud. and uds.) so the students know that their conjugation coincide with the 3rd person singular and 3rd person plural.
The pronoun usted is formal as you said and it's less used in "relaxed" conversations (with friends and family) but you do use it in more formal contexts, when you've just met a person, or in a bank, interview, with elderly people, etc.

Gracias!! This was my mistake I was looking at basic present tense conjugation charts, but I forgot that it was *third* person plural, not second. Now I can get perfect scores '-) '-). Impressed at getting such good answers so quickly.
