Answer given : Estoy vendiendo . My answer marked wrong was : yo estoy vendiendo. Is that just because I wrote yo and not Yo ? If so that seems rather harsh.

You should have got that right, not wrong. I just included as a correct answer the sentence using yo.

I had a very similar problem. I generally don't use capitals and didn't think it would matter. I said estoy vendiendo. Now we know.

The system doesn't penalise the use of capital letters at all. If you tell me when you did that test or can send a screenshot of your result page I can have a look.
