English not quite right

Sara dijo que ella ________ al perro. Sara said she'd take the dog for a walk. English should be: Sara said she’d take the dog out. Saludos, Shirley.

Hola Shirley

Yes, literally, that would be "to take out the dog", but in Spanish, when you say "sacar al perro" this implies taking him for a walk, without mentioning the walk.

I hope it clarified it.

Saludos
