English correction is necessary in the 7th example

"At the meeting they asked us to take a sit and to pay attention"

Either of the following would be correct..................

a) "they asked us to take a seat and pay attention"

or b) "they asked us to sit and pay attention"

You cannot "take a sit" in English.
