Do we use Durante for the second for?

That guy worked for us for a few months.


why are we not translating the second for in the sentence: 'for a few months'?

Should it not be: Durante unos meses?

You can also drop "durante" and leave it with no preposition at all. Here is a Kwiziq lesson about this topic. I hope it helps.
