The reason why we didn't include "unas" in the text is because if we do, you can see straight away that it is a plural and part of the testing is about using the word "vacation/holiday" in plural in Spanish, as clarified in the lesson (by the end) so it would be (sort of) giving part of it away.

I hope this clarified it.
