Since they are marked as errors when absent, can we please have an indication of punctuation (in Spanish of course "punto final" "coma"!) when we are answering the individual sections?
Add punctation to the dictation

Hola Chris,
We actually set the answers so that they are accepted both with and without punctuation, as it is often very difficult to know whether a comma, full stop or other punctuation mark is present just by listening.
If you received feedback highlighting missing punctuation, please don't worry about it. Dictations are self-marking exercises, so if your answer is correct apart from some punctuation, you can consider it correct.
We have considered adding prompts such as "comma" or "full stop" to the audio, but students can sometimes miss those indications as well. For that reason, we prefer to focus on helping learners recognise and understand the words they hear.
I hope this helps.
Un saludo cordial,
Inma
