Diego Velázquez is my favorite painter. He is a 17th century Spanish painter. I really like his paintings because this painter uses depth and aerial perspective (in order) to create very beautiful contrasts. He lived in Madrid and in Seville, and used many different genres in his paintings. He was an excellent painter and you can see his work in the Prado Museum.
