If you want to see a spectacular natural area, you have to travel to the south of the island of Gran Canaria (in order) to visit the Maspalomas dunes. It is said that they could have originated due to a tsunami produced as a consequence of the Lisbon earthquake of 1755. It is considered a special nature reserve and it has an area of more than 400 hectares. When you visit the dunes, you should go on a camel ride since the tour is very beautiful. During this walk, you will see many different birds and plants that only exist in this area. Being in the dunes is like being in the desert!

Clever stuff happening!
