Calçots are long vegetables. They are typical in Catalonia. There is a traditional festival called "calçotada". People peel the calçots with their hands and dip the calçots in a sauce. This sauce is called romesco. The sauce has tomato and almonds. People eat standing up and wear a bib so they don't get dirty. It's a very fun tradition.
