Laser surgery represents a major advance in modern medicine. It allows for minimally invasive, highly precise interventions. Doctors use different types of lasers depending on the tissue to be treated. This procedure, which has been used in ophthalmology, dermatology and general surgery, reduces bleeding and speeds up recovery. For example, in vision, the laser corrects myopia and astigmatism. In dermatology, it eliminates skin lesions and improves scars. In oncology, it destroys tumors with minimal damage to healthy tissue. Before being operated on, the patient receives local or general anesthesia. During the procedure, the surgeon controls the intensity of the laser, whose advanced technology minimizes errors and guarantees greater safety. After surgery, the patient requires only a few days of recovery. However, some side effects may include inflammation. Despite this, the risk of complications is very low. Thanks to these advances, laser surgery continues to evolve, since it offers effective solutions with less impact on the human body.
