How do you celebrate Mother's Day? Here in Mexico, it is a most special day, since it's when we honor our mothers to thank them for their work for the family. As soon as this day approaches, the stores keep on advertising gift ideas, schools begin to organize musical acts and restaurants receive a lot of reservations. In addition to all the above, there is the beautiful tradition of hiring mariachi serenades and special masses, since we cannot forget that this day has a strong Catholic influence. For me, the most important thing about this day, is to show all the moms how much we love and admire them.
