Do you know who Edgar Arandia is? He is a Bolivian poet and painter born in 1950 in La Paz. He studied Fine Arts but he also got a degree in anthropology and he obtained a master's degree. In the seventies, he belonged to an influential art collective and was Deputy Minister of Culture from 2006 to 2007. His works have received several awards both in Bolivia and abroad, and today he remains an influential figure in Bolivian cultural life through his work as a visual artist, writer and teacher.
