We are in Las Arenas, in Bilbao, and we are going to meet with our friend Iván from Portugalete, so we will cross the Vizcaya Bridge that joins the two banks of the Bilbao estuary. It is a ferry bridge for vehicles and passengers inaugurated in 1893, being the first of its kind in the world. It was built in order to unite the existing spas, both on the right and on the left sides of the river, destined for the industrial bourgeoisie and tourists at the end of the 19th century. The bridge is 61 meters high and 160 meters in length. The ferry bridge is considered the oldest in service in the world.
