In many Spanish cities and villages it is a popular tradition to climb a mountain every December 31st to say goodbye to the year. People want to share with nature this important date to change of year and renew themselves spiritually. If you have a mountain close to home, try the experience and climb to the top alone or with friends, I'm sure you'll start the year very well.
