It would be good to have Mexican voices

Your audio examples are one of the best features on this site.

However I find it hard to catch the European accents of some of the speakers.

ex. sofá = "sofau"

ex. hice = "heetsay"

It would be good for those of us who have a Latin American focus to start to hear more Latin American pronunciation. At the very least we could use a lesson on European accents.

We are having a combination of voices for the new lessons and exercises that have been created since we launched LatAm. Before, our focus was only European Spanish and all examples in the lessons are from Spain (the lesson you tagged here is one of those). 
What we are doing with new specific LatAm lessons now is using only LatAm voices and for Standard lessons that have content applicable to both we do a combination of European and LatAm voices. I hope this helps.

That’s great, Inma.  Thanks.  One more suggestion: it would be great if the new speakers could be more expressive.  I listened to an excellent telenovela on Netflix and realized that it’s easier to understand Spanish when it’s spoken with expression.

Thanks for the suggestion about the more expressive voices. It's a bit trickey as they are automated voices and some of them, I agree, sound very robotic. I'll pass this on to see if there is something we can do about this. We have to use automated voices in all examples and questions from the lessons, plus gap-fills and writing challenges. For reading exercises and dictations we always use real voices.
