Who is this famous French writer? He was born in Paris on June 6th 1868, but he grew up in Normandy. He studied law to become a lawyer. He started his writing career as a crime correspondent for a big newspaper. Those trials probably inspired his work, and in particular his detective stories. In "The Mystery of the Yellow (Bed)Room", a murder takes place in a room locked from the inside! It's the first appearance of the Rouletabille character. He also wrote "The Phantom of the Opera"... So, have you guessed who it is? Of course, this writer's name is Gaston Leroux!

I'll be right with you...
