How the test works

Here's a preview of the text for the writing challenge, when you're ready click the start button above:

If I were Lucky Luke, I would be the best cowboy in the American West. After all, I would be the man who shoots faster than his shadow. I would live at the time of the Gold Rush, and I'd go through the Far West in the company of my faithful steed Jolly Jumper, whom people call the fastest horse in the West. I'd spend a lot of time in saloons, where I'd admire the cancan dancers while drinking whisky or playing poker. I'd constantly defend the weak and the oppressed against the many bandits in the region, like my sworn enemies, the Dalton brothers, whom I'd regularly send to jail, from which they'd escape just as regularly. And of course, I'd always end my adventures by riding off into the sunset while singing: “I'm a poor lonesome cowboy and a long long way from home.”

Clever stuff happening!
