This week we’re exploring how the Spanish language has evolved over time and how it continues to adapt to new words and expressions. Some of these even make their way into our very own official dictionary, the RAE.<\/p>\n

We’ve chosen one of those newer words that younger generations use all the time. It might sound familiar! Take a look in our la palabra curiosa<\/em> section to discover it.<\/p>\n

Loguearse<\/em>\u00a0means…\u00a0exactly what you\u2019re thinking: \u201cto log in.\u201d<\/p>\n

See how we\u2019ve taken an English term and turned it into a new Spanish verb<\/strong>? Aren’t we clever!\u00a0\ud83d\ude04<\/p>\n

Here are some examples to see it in context:<\/p>\n

Antes de la clase, tienes que loguearte<\/strong> en la plataforma.<\/em>
\nBefore class, you have to log in<\/strong> to the platform.<\/p>\n
